This position is for a reliable, self-starter in the Dallas Area, who will be required to travel to various different company and/or client sites to perform various inspections. The Safety Specialist's number one responsibility is to minimize injuries, reduce exposure to workplace hazards and comply with Company, customer and regulatory requirements. This individual will be responsible for driving a safety-minded culture and instilling it in our operations across multiple offices throughout the Dallas territory. Site inspections: Conduct risk assessments, identify potential hazards and safety needs at business sites and provide site-specific recommendations to reduce or eliminate risk. Assist in coordinating Insurance Inspections; Participate in periodic loss prevention inspections by insurance carriers and provide assistance with insurance claims.

Under the supervision of senior cultural resources staff, the candidates will be involved with a wide range of projects related to energy, transportation and development for clients in both the private and public sectors.You will supervise and complete compliance monitoring, supervise archaeological surveys, participate in excavations, and document findings. In addition you may: •Conduct archaeological surveys.•Participate in test excavations and mitigation projects.•Follow all quality control guidelines established by Atkins.•Maintain fieldwork documentation and reporting according to Atkins standards.•Coordinate and communicate with staff and management in a coherent and expeditious manner.•Track and maintain progress for assigned tasks, independently resolve issues, show initiative, and work to creatively increase efficiency in assigned tasks. This position will not support visa sponsorship.You must be willing and prepared to spend much of your work time in the field and travelling to project sites. Astellas is announcing a Sr. Scientific Affairs Liaison (Urology)- Field based Territory (OH/MI) The Sr. Scientific Liaison (SL) is responsible for: (1) developing partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders [KOLs] in academic and clinical medicine, (2) supporting the brand plans, (3) ensuring a knowledgeable environment, and (4) advancing the body of scientific knowledge. The primary duties and responsibilities of a Scientific Liaison include: Developing Partnerships with KOLs - Identifying and evaluating a minimum of 35 KOLs aligned with meeting scientific needs of brand plan(s) in assigned geography. Creating and implementing an Outcomes plan for each KOL which will be stored and/or communicated electronically with progress to goal reviewed quarterly. Identify Key Academic Institutions affiliated with our KOLs and the organizational structure and governance within the institution. Supporting the brand plan - Communicating findings from regular field interactions to appropriate colleagues. Identifying and communicating business and scientific market trends in the local healthcare environment. Attending key national or regional scientific meetings as assigned. Providing written report of findings to meeting coordinator. Attending advisory boards as appropriate and reporting back key findings. Participating in therapeutic area (TA) level project(s) as assigned by manager and appropriately interacting with key stakeholders. Providing training support as assigned by manager (e.g., disease management, product info, journal club). Identifying, qualifying and recommending appropriate KOLs for participation in Astellas clinical studies. Collaborating with internal customers, meeting with/updating regional sales managers at a minimum of once a quarter, and attending plan of action meetings upon request . Identifying and recommending appropriate KOLs to participate on speakers' bureau and/or Advisory Boards. Ensuring a knowledgeable environment - Presenting product research data to Hospital, Managed Care and Government formulary committees per request. Discussing approved scientific information with KOLs regarding Astellas products and disease state management concepts as appropriate. Providing Managed Care and formulary support through presentation of scientific information on APUS products upon request. Ensuring all KOLs on the speakers' bureau are routinely updated as new information arises. Advancing the body of scientific knowledge - Facilitating appropriate Investigator Initiated Trial (IIT) submissions to support scientific needs of brand plans. Facilitating presentation and/or publication opportunities for IIT trial data. Presenting Astellas scientific data, study protocol information, and/or registry data to all participating KOLs. Identifying new products, partners, and scientific developments for potential in-licensing. Committing to a learning objective - Taking initiative and proactively working toward learning new skills or enhancing skills. Bachelor in Health Science field from an accredited program is required; Advanced Degree preferred (MSN, AOCN; PhD; MD; PharmD). Coursework needs to have included physiologic sciences. 2+ years of industry experience and/or 3+ years of clinical experience or health science research are required. Urology knowledge is essential. Urology Scientific Liaison experience is preferred. The following skills and abilities are required: demonstrated ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific information; proven oral and written communication skills; ability to travel overnight 40% - 60% of the time; demonstrated basic computer skills [MS Office and Windows] and willingness to learn new applications; demonstrated ability and capacity to network and establish business relationships; willingness to acknowledge and function in an industry business environment. The following skills and abilities are desired: demonstrated high level of scientific expertise/competency in therapeutic area of responsibility; prior experience in managing a frequent travel schedule.•cb*
