The MSL will be the primary conduit for Medical Affairs communications and interactions for their assigned institutions. They will ensure effective communication across multifunctional teams in carrying out Medical Affairs tactics. Extensive knowledge of Hematology Malignancies, Solid Organ Transplant (SOT), Immunology and field medical affairs is strongly preferred. The position will report to the Regional Director, Hematology/SOT Field Medical for MSLs.PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:•Engage with specified KTLs and assigned institutions to provide scientific support for existing strategic products and pipeline agents upon request or in fulfillment of an approved Medical Affairs initiative.•Serve as a primary liaison for connecting KTLs and their affiliate institutions with appropriate Medical Affairs initiatives that forward the scientific progress of our brands.•Provide scientific and liaison support for the involvement of KTLs with Sanofi in Malignant Hematology and SOT research activities including corporate sponsored trials and unsolicited requests for interactions related to Investigator Sponsored Trials (ISTs).•Obtain, assimilate, organize and report appropriate competitive and clinical intelligence in a concise, clear manner and compliant with any applicable Sanofi policies and procedures.•Attend assigned scientific congresses for the purposes of gaining scientific insights, supporting the communication of information about Sanofi in Malignant Hematology and SOT disease states which may potentially include Sanofi products, research, obtaining competitive and clinical intelligence, and supporting KTL interactions.•Develop and execute Field Medical Affairs plans at the assigned territory level in full alignment to the Medical Affairs strategies and tactics. Territory plans may include specific institutional plans.•Provide reports, assessments and KTL and customer insights in a clear, succinct and timely fashion.•Engage with assigned Hematology Cooperative Groups to support their scientific and research needs that are consistent with Sanofi Hematology Medical Affairs strategy.•Collaborate with scientific communications to support development of publications and communications.•Maintain and continually develop scientific knowledge in Malignant Hematology and SOT related to approved Sanofi Hematology and SOT products, Sanofi pipeline agents, and the relevant competitive landscape.•Assist with implementation and engagement of KTL participation in advisory boards, consultant meetings and other scientific meetings consistent with all Sanofi policies, procedures and processes.Key Success Factors:•Develop trust and maintain integrity with internal and external partners, peers, and others within the US Medical Affairs and commercial organizations•Communicate with all medical, research and development and commercial counterparts to enhance the successful implementation of assigned or expected field medical strategies and tactics.•Ensure the execution of activities which lead to the attainment of individual objectives and results.
