Periodically in-services the Nursing staff and Unit Secretaries on ordering lab tests in STAR.12.  Maintains procedures related to PathNet.13. Coordinates changes and enhancements concerning QUEST/Cerner interface.14.  Contacts QUEST Laboratories for pricing information on new tests which need to be added to the QUEST/Cerner interface. 15.  Coordinates the Medicare changes with the appropriate Financial, Information Systems, Laboratory personnel and Hospital Compliance Officer. 16.  Participates in Hospital chart audit committee for Medicare Auditing compliance.17.   Participates in Departmental Monthly Quality Assurance Program. 18.  Reviews Hospital and Laboratory inspection criteria to ensure compliance.
