Pharmacy Technician

Details: Job Classification: Contract A large pharmacy services provider that helps consumers obtain the medications and products they need to live healthier lives is looking to immediately hire pharmacist technicians. All candidates must adhere to a strict schedule:Training hours will be Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm and will last for 4 weeksShifts will NOT be determined until AFTER training - candidates will be assigned any shift from 5am – 10pm which will include a Sunday work dayMust be available to work 7 days a week as early as 5am and as late as 10pm Candidates must posses an active CA Pharm Tech licenseCandidates must have good computer skills and good phone skills Candidates must possess a high school diplomaJob duties include but not limited to:Answers incoming calls; assists customers/pharmacies/physicians with orders and reorders, benefit eligibility questions and prescription status inquiriesEscalates drug related calls to appropriate pharmacist.Assist pharmacies and members on all issues related to processing of pharmacy claimsDetermines appropriateness of overriding pharmacy claims edits and error messagesCoordinates internal resolution of claims exceptions and other issuesInitiates correspondence with members regarding claims rejections and other benefit interpretationMakes outbound calls on prescriptions with hold orders and payment issuesMay also assist in logging in of new prescription ordersEducates customers on benefits, use of plan, formulary, premiums and status of orders, claims or inquiriesAll interested candidates please contact Laurel Magistrado at 714-347-1233 Join Aerotek Scientific®LLC, one of the fastest growing providers of scientific and clinical research services in the nation.
